Collins Plywood Prep Router Bit
$ 35.99
Manufactured by Whiteside, the Collins Ply Prep router bit solves the challenge of core expansion in plywood and other sheet goods when gluing on solid wood nosing. Used on a router table or freehand router, it cuts a slight depression on the edge of the plywood leaving the surface veneers proud. The adjoining molding will not be pushed away from the skins when there is a little space for inner plies to swell being wet with glue. You can actually clamp with masking tape and never have to putty a seam again, this makes it easy to get perfect closure every time! Available in 1/4″ and 1/2″ shank Bit has a registration mark to align with the center ply Cut length: 1″ For material from 3/4″ to 1-1/2″ thick. Recommended RPM: 14,000 Made in USA by Whiteside
